Aartsen not only wants to grow the business of its suppliers, but also wants to contribute to the well-being of children. Aartsen Kids Foundation (AKF) has launched four different initiatives for children who could use a bit of encouragement. These initiatives contribute to their health, happiness and self-esteem. AKF works in partnership with primary schools and social workers, based on the same ‘nonstopfresh’ philosophy that Aartsen applies.
Contributing to children's happiness, health and self-esteem by giving them a helping hand. To help guide this mission, four projects have been launched: Cool Treats, Children's Parties, December Gifts and School Supplies.
Cool Treats is an education initiative for primary schools, that allows children to playfully experience how delicious, fun and cool fruit and vegetables are.
Due to various circumstances, not every parent is able to offer their children a birthday party. For those children, Aartsen Kids Foundation has put together fun and complete packages.
When children enter the first year of secondary school, they are expected to purchase various school supplies. Families who can't afford this expensive undertaking themselves, receive a school bag filled with supplies.
